About Your Instructor

Your designated instructor has a multitude of certifications obtained from over 13 years in the military, policing, and security fields.

-Served in the US Air Force for four years as a Security Forces Raven.

-Served as a police officer for six years, obtaining the titles of Sergeant, Field Training Officer, ERT member, Firearms Instructor, Arrest Control Instructor, and Tactical Medical Instructor.

- Among the firearm instructor certifications, he has obtained both Pistol and Carbine Instructor Certifications through Colorado POST, a Firearms Instructor certification through the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (as a distinguished grad), a Basic Pistol Instructor Certification through the NRA, and a Tennessee Firearms Instructor License.

-Beyond firearms instructing, he was also a department Tactical Medical Instructor, Arrest Control Instructor, and back in the day, a Surf Instructor in Santa Monica, CA. He has a Bachelors Degree in Public Safety and Emergency Management, taught at a Colorado police academy as an assistant firearms instructor, and has a calling for sharing his experience through education and hands on training.
